Terms of service

These terms cover use of the My Half Price Holidays website. By browsing the shop or adding a certificate to your cart, you agree to them.

What you are buying

You are purchasing promotional certificates (also called promotional vouchers) with a remaining balance. They are not gift cards, not online cart store credit, and not a payment method at e-commerce checkout. Product names, prices, and availability come from the store catalog. Payment is completed through the store's payment provider when you place an order. A completed order is the confirmation of purchase.

Face value

The in-store certificate balance equals the product's regular (full) face value. Sale prices and coupons change what you pay online only — they do not shrink the certificate balance you redeem in store.

Delivery

Virtual certificates: after payment is confirmed, you receive a private link and QR by email (typically one email per certificate). Pickup or print-only orders: automatic certificate emails are skipped; use your order confirmation and print paths to view and print certificates.

Redemption

Certificates are honored in person. Staff scan your QR and enter today's amount. Partial spend is supported; leftover balance stays until depleted or expired. Opening the link, printing, or downloading a PDF does not spend. Only a confirmed amount submission reduces the balance.

Validity

Certificates are valid for 5 years from purchase or issue by default. Your certificate shows Valid through with the end date. Certificates do not say “never expires” or “good forever.”

Security

Treat each certificate like cash. Do not share the certificate link or QR unless you intend for that person to use the remaining balance. Anyone with the link or QR can reduce the balance. Keep emails, links, and printouts secure.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt checkout, or submit information you are not allowed to share.

Liability

The site is provided as available. My Half Price Holidays is not liable for losses caused by outages, catalog delays, or third-party checkout services, except where the law does not allow that limit. You are responsible for keeping certificate links and QR codes secure.
